Little Tokyo is celebrating Children’s Day at the JACCC Plaza on May 3, 11am-4pm. It is a day to celebrate children by playing games, watching great live music and dance performances by kids and youth, and of course eating lots of good food. Union Church has kindly been invited to participate with a game booth. We will be doing our origami Go Fish game, in which youngsters of all ages can catch an origami fish in a paper ocean with a magnet fishing rod. We kindly ask that you help us by making a dozen (or 3) origami fish for the activity and delivering to Vessie, Miyuki, or Suzanne by morning of May 3.

At the Union Church of Los Angeles booth, we’ll be hosting a simple and engaging activity, Origami Magnet Go Fish! Kids (and adults!) can enjoy folding origami and then use their creations in a playful magnetic fishing game. It’s a hands-on way to explore creativity while having a great time.
